This diary brings joy with illustrations that change every single month. Designed to accompany you throughout the year, it fills each page with a sense of excitement and discovery.

The "Pocket Diary" series was first introduced in 1984 with the idea of adding color and enjoyment to everyday life. With its wide variety of sizes and designs, it has remained a favorite among diary users for decades. Unlike many planners that simply change the cover design while using the same interior format, each Pocket Diary features original illustrations created specifically for every month.

This edition features the popular illustrator Natsumi Teraoka, whose charming artwork brings lovable dogs of all kinds to life through rich, expressive colors. Rather than focusing on specific breeds, the illustrations celebrate the universal appeal and personality of dogs.

The 2027 edition invites you into a different world each month, combining seasonal colors with scenes that range from everyday moments to landscapes just beyond daily life. Special attention has been given to layouts that allow the vibrant dog illustrations—drawn with bold colors and rainbow-tinted outlines—to spread beautifully across the pages.

What may appear at first glance to be standard typography is, in fact, entirely hand-drawn. Even the grid lines and date numbers have been carefully illustrated by hand. The subtle variations in line weight create a sense of warmth and character that complements the clean, simple design.

The illustrations on the monthly and weekly pages are also thoughtfully connected. Together, they expand the story behind each month, sometimes unfolding like a short narrative and sometimes revealing another moment in the life of the same dog, inviting you to discover new details as you plan your days.
