Lemaire

In 1991, Christophe Lemaire founded his namesake fashion label in Paris, France, which was soon lauded for its timeless everyday wear and ardent fanbase. Thinking of all skin tones, Lemaire developed a signature dialed-down color palette and understated aesthetic for his practical garments made of innovative materials. These silhouettes are manifested in the brand’s staples—namely, the dry silk shirts and the asymmetrical Twisted Dress with button detailing. When Sarah-Linh Tran joined at the helm in 2010 as co-creative director, Lemaire entered a renaissance. Today, the Lemaire brand has a wider reach than ever, transcending genre, gender, and age with a leather goods line, jewelry offerings, and collaboration with Japanese lifewear brand Uniqlo.

Leica

From its origins as a microscope maker, Leica made photography a part of everyday life when they introduced the first 35 mm camera in 1914. Leica’s century-old tradition of quality cameras and lenses highlights the true essence of what a camera is and sets the company apart from the powerful Japanese DSLR brands.

Le Labo

Le Labo was established in 2006 by French co-founders Eddie Roschi and Fabrice Penot in Nolita, New York City. As much as the name suggests, Le Labo, which means “the laboratory” in French, is a cult perfume brand that takes its inspiration from the various goings-on of a perfumer’s lab. They pay special attention to the experience surrounding their perfumes, hand-blending and bottling each perfume in- store, labeling each with a created date and location, and allowing the customers to inscribe names or personal messages on the labels. Le Labo’s fragrances have staked out a unique presence in the industry, with charmingly distinct scents like Santal 33 and Rose 31 testifying to the brand’s deep appreciation of base ingredients.

Lamy

German foundation pen maker LAMY first started as an ORTHOS pen manufacturer in 1930 and established its own brand in1948. In 1966, LAMY introduced its signature product, LAMY 2000, which was inspired by BAUHAUS. The product bears the fountain pen manufacturer’s initial impetus for its design. The writing instrument maker has continuously been collaborating with designers outside of its organization and operating its in-house manufacturing facility in Heidelberg, where the company is headquartered. LAMY offers a wide range of products, which are “designed to be easy-to-use for anyone,” by introducing its high-quality products at reason- able prices.

Lego

A global toy manufacturer, lego first started from a small Carpenter’s workshop in 1932. Its signature bricks offer unlimited building possibilities and let a wealth of creative ideas emerge through play for anyone. Behind the worldwide popularity of lego, there lies a set of meticulous calculation based on thorough knowledge in engineering.

Lululemon

Founded in 1998 in Vancouver, Canada, Lululemon is a contemporary sportswear brand that initially gained recognition for its optimal-performance yoga pants. The highly functional and comfortable tops, pants, outerwear, daily wear, and sports gear are products of extensive observation of physical movements—or “the science of feel,” as described by the brand. Lululemon is regarded as standing at the epicenter of the athleisure trend, offering garments suited not only for workouts but also for daily life and even work. The brand has grown rapidly to secure an exclusive market share that rivals long-standing global sports brand powerhouses, a success rooted in the philosophy of symbiotic brand-customer prosperity that encourages community building centered on local stores and Lululemon ambassadors.
