A Brighter Summer Day

A Brighter Summer Day

Heya, I guess I'm a better photographer than a writer, so I've decided to communicate through images instead of paragraphs. Hopefully I will keep updating (Procrastination issues. Don't ask).

A Brighter Summer Day

(the title is a namesake of a film made by Edward Yang in 1991)

One thing that I learned from Ema Peter while she was doing the photo shoot of our store, is "always place something quirky in your photo". In this photo shoot, the red candy can played a whimsical role (if you have seen "Grave of the Fireflies" by Isao Takahata. No, not by Hayao Miyazaki). Also, I'm very satisfied with this unexpected blue & red color scheme. The sky, the ocean, the crane, the stairs, the t-shirt, the candy can and the book. To be honest, sometimes your luck is what makes great shots.
